Majesty

They’ve always been there.

Just hanging out.  Being themselves.  Standing in their authentic being-ness.

And because I mostly live day to day in a rectangular shaped structure and cycle in and through versions of myself day after day,...I am sorry to say I forgot about them.

I forgot about Majesty, yet there it was, not far from my boxed-in life.

You know me, I aim to dance, walk at the water, yoga outside, Qigong in the grass, garden, sing and welcome the abundance of Life in many different ways.

You have all your ways of staying connected and widening perspectives.

Well the last two days, I got to experience another way.

Driving from Vancouver to the flatlands of Southern Alberta—---picture the continually changing landscapes,...you are moving fast, yet all else remains still.  ….. Milky green rivers, turquoise blue lakes, dark yet sparkling Shuswap… and then flowing waterfalls finding their way over jaggedy pieces of rock.

Millions of trees, more variants of green than I could ever describe, stretches of purple, yellow and white wildflowers, and …..amidst all of it—--this sense of smallness I didn’t know I was longing for—- speeding through God’s Art Gallery at the base of 4000m peaks.

The Rocky Mountains.

Gave me a good shake up, wake up.

I hope you all get to experience it.

MAJESTY.

I sure needed it.

Didn’t know I needed it.

There it was….a birthday gift…..another way to experience Reverence and bow at the feet of Creation.

I prayed for the land, sang, yelled, and cried at Beauty, miracles and my smallness.

Thanks Life.

For offering more of these experiences.   Once again today, I have fresh eyes.

To seeing clearly,

To your freedom from all that clouds perspective,

Alexandra
